We will be making a detour to the Pacific Rim for this tasting, where saké is quickly becoming one of the "coolest" international drinks after almost 2,000 years of popularity in Japan. There are thousands of varieties of saké with 400 flavor components - compared to wine's 200 components, there's a lot more to discover than you may think.
